For my final trip of 2024, I spent a month on the opposite side of the globe in Oceania, visiting Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia, in addition to giving multiple presentations at my first PyCon Australia.

For my penultimate trip of 2024, I presented at conferences on both sides of the pond. First, I flew cross-country to San Francisco for a couple of days at ODSC West. From there, I headed to Strasbourg for my first PyCon France. Finally, I spent a week in London attending a training before heading home.

The third edition of PyCon Portugal was in Braga – a new Portuguese city for me. Not only was I presenting, but for the first time ever, I was one of the volunteers that helped organize the conference.

The Asia leg of my 2024 conference tour consisted of a talk and sprint at PyCon Taiwan in Kaohsiung City along with a talk at PyCon Japan in Tokyo.

Over the span of 23 days, I circumnavigated the globe, stepped foot on every hemisphere, and visited three new countries (bringing my total up to 43). I made this trip in order to present at three new conferences – Kiwi PyCon, PyCon Poland, and PyCon Estonia – which happened to be taking place over three consecutive weeks.
